Born and Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii

Volunteer work inspired me to go to law school, to be a voice for victims of violent crime
-
Graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 2003
-
2003, started career as a prosecutor for the City of Las Vegas.

2005, started at the Clark County District Attorney’s Office
-
2009, Special Victim’s Unit, prosecuted sexual & physical child & adult cases
-
2012 promoted to Team Chief of the Gang Unit, prosecuted violent offenders in Clark County
-
Over 50 felony jury trials & brought justice to hundreds of victims
-
My work at the Gang Unit also included finding alternatives to incarceration
-
Worked with Hope for Prisoners and participated in a joint study between UNLV & University of Cincinnati

In 2015, graduated from Leadership Las Vegas class of 2015 (high five- 15)
-
In 2017, I got married and became the stepmother to two fabulous young women
